The wisest book on the earth

I think that the book of proverbs is the wisest "book" on earth.

The book of Proverbs was primarily written to young people and children to given them wisdom for daily living. This includes teaching them discretion to keep them from future trouble; the ability to make wise choices in the situations the find themselves in; to know what is right and what is wrong and to have good common sense.(except from Pastor Dee Harris. Wisdom for Daily Living 2).
But it is not just for the young, its for all of us, and every day we can learn from proverbs. There are 31 proverbs, each filled with amazing insight. The more I read proverbs the more I realise just how applicable it is for today's life.
I love reading proverbs from the Message Bible. Its  written in today's modern language and is very insightful.

Perhaps try reading proverbs 21 tomorrow and see if you learn anything from it. A long time ago I learnt that its better to live in alone in a tumbled down shack than share a mansion with a nagging spouse! Sound familar..Ouch!
